Without exagerating, the best lounge food I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve been around the world. The pilau rice, beef stew, ratatouille, sallads etc… were fenomenal. Paid a visit to the Simba Lounge at JKIA before departure. The lounge is pretty small on the 2nd floor, and the seats in the lounge is pretty limited. 1st impression when I entered and tried to find a seat was that the place was understaffed. People had food and left the cutlery on the tables and we
Got here after midnight and there were no other customers. So we had the whole place to ourselves 😁 We just needed to rest until our flight leaves. There was not much food and drinks options available at this hours. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The flagship lounge of Kenya Airways at Nairobi airport has good views of the airfield. The food is alright and there is enough seating in the lounge. Nothing spectacular about the lounge but it does the job.
If you have a lengthy layover in Nairobi, just take the elevator to level 2 to find this fantastic area to relax. Since I had a layover of around 14 hours, I chose this lounge with excellent bathing facilities. They provide a huge selection of meals, drinks, and salads, all of which were excellent.
